Do you know how to spot cybercriminals and avoid becoming a victim of scams? Internet safety is the topic of this presentation for adults.

Learn how to know when you're being targeted, and understand how you can be proactive in protecting yourself online. This presentation includes very short video clips provided by The Oasis Institute, with commentary and discussion led by technology services librarian Bridgid Reeves.

This program will be held virtually via Zoom. Advance registration required; meeting details will be emailed the day before the program.

The videos highlighted in this presentation will be available on the library facebook page as part of Tech Tuesdays, June 2, 9, 16.

Belt Branch was expanded and renovated in 2006 and occupies a unique space in a commercial strip-mall building on the busiest thoroughfare in town.  It is open 7 days a week and offers over 30 programs per month. You can also schedule a one-on-one technology appointment or apply to get a passport.
