Books Revisited Bookstore

This bookstore is our Friends of the Library main fundraising endeavor.  The store receives donations made to the library and sorts them by content and condition.  The library can choose to add any donations to our collection or to let the Friends sell them for fundaising.

The bookstore is managed by Hans Bremer and is completely staffed by volunteers.  It is open 56 hours per week as listed below, but it may close at any time if volunteer help is not available.  There also may be extended hours around holidays or for special sales.

  • Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
  • Monday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If you like and follow Books Revisted on Facebook, you can virtually shop their new items.  They post things for sale and you can put them on hold for pick-up later.  You can also request an author or a title and the volunteers will watch for those things and contact you if they come in.

Books Revisited features thousands of used books on its shelves, at bargain prices. Almost all of the books are $2 for hardcovers and $1 for paperbacks. We also have CDs, DVDs, records, VHS tapes, audio books, puzzles, art prints, and specialty priced books.  Lots of paperbacks are for sale, from 4 to 10 for $1.00.

The store has also started carrying some literary gifts, such as canvas tote bags, fun patterned socks, and other specialty items.  Stop in soon and see the variety of items for sale.  You can call the store at 816-205-7125 or message them on Facebook.
