rescheduled from July. Come meet and learn from the staff and athletes of Special Olympics Missouri. You'll find out what the organization does, how to get involved, and hear about the athlete's experiences first-hand.
[It is] the world’s largest sports organization with nearly 5 million athletes in more than 170 countries. The mission of the Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. Savannah Branch got a new look both inside and out in 2017. Small town hospitality abounds at this location, with a family-friendly layout and abundant seating. This location also processes passport applications, the only location in Andrew County to do so.
