Seniors can sample a variety of evidence-based programs, offered in partnership with Young at Heart Resources. Three different topics over three weeks - come join us for informative and fun sessions!

This fun, 60-minute fitness class comes from the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, an evidence-based program that teaches safe ways to exercise for adults living with or without arthritis. Increase flexibility, strength, endurance, cardiovascular health, and balance. Exercises are performed with a chair and seated options provided.

Young at Heart Resources partners with area service providers by funding meal and nutrition programs, active living centers, and in-home care agencies throughout Northwest Missouri. The organization also offers healthy aging courses, community outreach, advocacy during long-term care arrangements, information and assistance and comprehensive benefits counseling. Additional options for assistance include: transportation, legal aid, public education, medicare & medicaid counseling, ombudsman advocacy, grandparents raising grandchildren, and the Silver Haired Legislature.
