K-12 students can drop in to create an 8.5" by 11" poster to submit to the Constitution Day Poster Design Contest. They can use a variety of media to create their own unique design showcasing how they benefit from the Constitution.
K-12 students, ages 6-18, can drop in to create an 8.5" by 11" poster to submit to the annual Constitution Day Poster Design Contest. We will have colored pencils, crayons, markers, and paint for students to use in creating their design.
The Government Documents Round Table (GODORT), a division of the American Library Association, sponsors a contest each year for students to design a poster that represents how they benefit from the Constitution. Posters can feature any aspect of the Constitution, including the Bill of Rights and the Amendments. Each winner will receive a commemorative coin, with the Grand Prize winner also receiving a $100 cash award. Winning posters will be displayed at www.ConstitutionFacts.com. Past winners can also be seen via the website.
