Rolling Hills Library Belt Branch has a Chess & Checkers Club that meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6 p.m. You do not need to register to participate, just bring your game face and be ready to have some strategic fun! Beginners are welcome. Kids should be accompanied by an adult.

Looking for something to do on Halloween once the sun goes down?

Why not join us for a blitz style chess tournament and see who spooks first.
 

This will be a double round robin quad tournament, meaning that all participants will be placed in groups of no more than four players who will play each other, round robin style, in two games per round: once as black and once as white. There is no fee. Some boards and clocks will be available, but feel free to bring your own.

Time Control: G/5;d0 (Both players start with 5 minutes on their clock)
