Friends, museum planning bus tour to Branson
THIS TRIP IS FULL, BUT A WAITING LIST HAS BEEN STARTED.
The Friends of the Library and St. Joseph Museums are planning a 3-day, 2-night motorcoach tour to see Christmas shows and other attractions in Branson, Mo.
The trip is set for Nov. 2-4 and will feature holiday dinner shows by the Hughes Brothers and by the Dixie Stampede, a visit to the Titanic Museum, lunch at Relics Tea Room and Antique Mall in Springfield, lunch at the School of the Ozarks’ Keeter Center and a visit to the Ralph Foster Museum, which is known as “The Smithsonian of the Ozarks.”
The trip costs $425 per person based on double occupancy and covers all costs except lunch on Nov. 4 at Branson Landing. The bus trip departs from the museum, 3406 Frederick, on Nov. 2 and spends two nights at Center Pointe Inn in Branson.
The trip is a fund-raising project for the Friends and the museum.
