Learn about Missouri's snakes and get to meet some scaly friends up close!

Snakes are scaly and may look scary, but they are a lot like you and me! Come read along while we learn all the ways snakes are just like us, but also what makes them special! You can also pet one of MDC's three snakes we take care of at the MDC Regional Office!

Naturalist Shelby Smith with the Missouri Department of Conservation will lead this off-site program. Meet at the MDC Northwest Regional Office at 701 James McCarthy Drive, St. Joseph MO, on the campus of Missouri Western State University. All ages are welcome!

Attendance is limited and registration is required for all attendees. Registration opens two weeks prior to the event. If you are not present when the program begins, you may not be able to participate.
