Cozy Mittens Knitting

Create a pair of super simple mittens or fingerless mitts using easy knitting patterns . Class runs 3 meetings. Must be able to knit, purl, cast on. Not beginning knitting.

Supplies needed for fingerless mitts: one skein of approximately 110 yds. of worsted weight yarn in your choice of colors and fibers. 

One set of size 7 double point needles, preferably in bamboo or wood, to avoid slippage. If you cannot find any bamboo or wood, we can certainly work with a set of metal ones. 

Bring a pair of scissors, a tape measure and a tapestry needle. A small stitch holder or large safety pin will also be helpful. 

Supplies needed for mittens: 160 yds. of worsted weight yarn, your choice of fibers and colors. 

One set of size 5 and size 7 double point needles, bamboo or wood are best , metal will work. 

Bring a pair of scissors, a tape measure, a tapestry needle, and small stitch holder or large safety pin.  

Not for beginners! Must know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl.
